MA-URI Massage and Bodywork
Hawaiian massage and bodywork techniques, kahuna teachings, Australian aborigines` knowledge and strong roots in Maori spiritual and cultural traditions all inspired its creation and the dream to make Polynesian healing arts accessible for people all over the world. Its name combines the Maori words: MA = (white, light) referring to the cleansing of the body, freedom from physical and emotional tension and self imposed limitations in life as well as the purity of energies we work with. And URI= (descendant) giving respect to the Source and the Ancestors as well as referring to the chance to be healthy and pass that on to our children. You are welcome to read more about its origin here. | ![]() |

special head-rest that enables the massage therapist to have exceptional,
thorough work on the shoulders (carriers of stress).
-
long sweeping moves to clear tension and old energies from the
body.
-
pleasantly warm massage oil (no minerals!)
-
music being an essential component maintaining a continuous, dynamic
flow of energies.

connection with earth energies and the clients` bio energy.
